This is mental. I imagined a pose like this for a painting I have stuck in my head and need to do, spent an age looking for a decent ref for at least the pair of legs and found none. Literally just stumbled across this now and this is almost exactly the pose I had in mind.
This is a gorgeous photo. The entire series and how you've portrayed it is beautiful, and the reason you did it is even more so. Excellent decision to pay homage to Caravaggio at the same time, I do adore his work!

I love the contrast of serenity and pain. The light is glowing and soft, the materials are lacy and flowing, but the splash of red and her foot twisted to the side and her expression show discomfort. Very nice.
